KCSL has named Kent Curran chief financial officer effective Jan. 1, 2023. Based in Wichita, Curran will provide oversight for all KCSL assets. Previous KCSL CFO Paula Wischnack retired from her position on Dec. 31, 2022. Wischnack served in this position since 2009.
“I am truly grateful for the opportunity to represent Kansas Children’s Service League as the CFO,” Curran said. “I believe in the mission and the amazing positive impact KCSL has on children, families and communities.”
About Kent Curran
As of February, this will be Curran’s 23rd year at KCSL, and he served as finance manager for the last 19 years. Previously, he held various positions in Finance and Accounting during his career including 27 years in the nonprofit sector. Curran is married to his wife of 20 years, Rachelle, and has two children, Ashley and Nate, a son-in-law, Alex, two cats, Bad Kitty and Maribel, and two grand-pups, Apollo and Atticus. In his spare time, he enjoys going on vacation, volunteering at the NBC World Series and attending sporting events especially for Kansas State University.
